"Located in Braybrook, Victoria I decided to list my three bedroom townhouse with the biggest agent in the area. The townhouse was fully renovated and had all the bells and whistles (New kitchen, laundry, bathroom, carpet, paint etc). I purchased the premium advertising package with the agent ($2000) and they listed the property in January this year (2022), basically the peak of the market. After 100 days and a heap of excuses the agent had a grand total of three buyers through the property with zero offers. Feeling frustrated with the agents poor performance I decided to take a risk and do it myself. I read some reviews for Sell My Own Place and thought it was worth the $400 fee. Within the first week I had more buys through the property than the agent did in 100 days. Three weeks later the property was SOLD and I settled today. 100% recommend Sell My Own Place. Saved at least $14,000 on agents fees and would have saved more if I went with them from the beginning."
